London Bike Studio Returns Policy

1. Return Period

  • You have 30 days from the receipt date to return your purchase.

  • For online purchases, the 30-day period starts from the day you collect the item or the day it is delivered, not the order date.

  • We reserve the right to refuse refunds on second-hand bikes unless the item is found to be faulty beyond reasonable repair within 30 days of delivery or collection.

2. Conditions for Returns

  • All items must be returned new, unused, and in a resellable condition with their original packaging.

  • Faulty items due to manufacturing defects can be returned.

  • For bicycles, our professional mechanics will inspect returned bikes to ensure they are in a safe and resellable condition. Based on this inspection, a reduced refund may be offered if the bike shows signs of use.

3. Proof of Purchase

  • A proof of purchase (such as a receipt or order confirmation) is required to process any returns or exchanges.

4. Special Order Bike Deposit Policy

  • A deposit of 25% of the bicycle’s total price is required for all special-order bikes. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable. However, should you choose to change your selection, the deposit may be transferred as a credit toward the purchase of another bicycle. We appreciate your understanding and are here to assist you in finding the ideal bike.

5. Condition of Returned Items

  • New and resellable condition is required for all returns, meaning the item must be unused and in its original packaging.

  • Bicycles that have been used must pass an inspection by our mechanics to determine their safety and resellability. A reduced refund may apply if the item is not in perfect condition.

6. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • If the return is due to a fault or error outside the customer’s control (e.g., manufacturing defect or wrong item received), we will cover the return shipping costs.

  • For all other returns, customers are responsible for covering the shipping cost of the return.

7. Refunds and Exchanges

  • We offer exchanges for items that meet the return criteria.

  • All refunds will be processed using the same payment method used during the purchase.

8. Processing Time

  • Returns are processed within 3-5 working days of receiving the returned item.

  • If you have not heard from us after 5 working days, please contact us.

9. Faulty or Incorrect Items

  • If you receive a faulty or incorrect item due to an error by us or the manufacturer, we will offer a full refund or exchange.

  • We will cover the cost of return shipping in these cases.

10. Return of Assembled Products

  • We accept returns of assembled bicycles if they are undamaged by the customer and in a resellable condition.

  • All returned bikes will undergo an inspection by our mechanics, and a reduced refund may be offered if the bike is not in perfect condition.

11. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, magazines)

  • Intimate or sanitary products

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • Gift cards

  • Health and personal care items

  • Helmets and safety equipment

12. Consumer Rights (UK Compliance)

  • This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • If your item is faulty, you have the right to a full refund within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. If a repair or replacement is not possible or reasonable, you can request a refund.
