London Bike Studio is proud to support a variety of Cycle to Work schemes, making it easier for you to get on your bike while spreading the cost. Cycle to Work schemes are government-backed programmes that allow you to purchase a new bike and equipment through your employer, often saving on tax in the process.

How much will I save?
Curious about Cycle to Work schemes? Give us a call or drop by the shop and we'll talk you through how it all works. In most cases the scheme runs over 12 months as a salary sacrifice, taken before tax — which means you save on both income tax and national insurance. Your exact saving depends on your tax bracket, but as a rule of thumb most riders end up paying around 30% less than the retail price.
A comprehensive, inclusive scheme

Who is this for?
This is an inclusive scheme. Any UK employer — whether commercial or not — can provide bikes for their staff. Any employee can benefit so long as the repayments don't take them below minimum wage, though other options are available for them too.
What can you get?
Employees can get anything officially classed as a bike — including manual and electric, cargo bikes, and specialist cycles for those with disabilities. Safety accessories such as helmets and lights can also be included.
To comply with scheme rules, the bike must be used at least 51% of the time for work-related purposes, such as commuting or travelling between offices.
Also available
We also have a sister scheme where employers can provide a shared bike pool for employees.
